Tristan & I went to Mt. Vernon last week. Had so much fun!
Hey, do me a favor please, and go to the picture called Becky and Lisa, and LIKE the photo. I’m in second place, and I need to win this people, so PLEASE help a girl out and VOTE… :) With a cherry on top!!!! Thanks!!!
I’m not perfect. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program. Oh and one more thing, I am REAL! :) That’s all.
Once again, it’s that time of year to plop down in front of the television set wearing your best team attire, and lose your mind yelling and screaming at the teams playing FOOTBALL!
I seem to be constantly pissing off my friends throughout the football season by my tweets and facebook posts. I am a Cowboys fan (and a Ravens fan), and it is against our nature to be quiet about anything, but I am also surrounded by REDSKINS fans and STEELER fans. So I always get a bunch of shit throughout the season. This year, however, I have a goal. I’m going to try to make it through football season without pissing off anyone, but I have to brace myself, because I am absolutely positive that many people will piss me off!
Last year, I talked so much smack on facebook, that many of my friends blocked me from their feeds. I didn’t really mind it, I think I actually loved it, but in order to try and seem like a “normal” football fan this year, I’ve come up with some social media football rules to help try and tame that monster that dwells deep within my soul. Here are my guidelines, and I hope I can abide these rules longer than this first weekend of games.
Facebook Rules:
1. Only post on my own wall about my own football persuasions and opinions. Even if you post opinions to someone who shares your opinions, their friends do not, and you will get into fights with them. It’s not pretty.
2. Keep the posts down to one per game. Perhaps a “GO COWBOYS” post at every game will serve better than waiting until they kick ass and posting how sorry the other team was.
3. If some arrogant son-of-a-bitch fan of the opposing team has the nerve to comment on my personal facebook page stream, they are gonna get the wrath of the NFL monster within me, because then all bets are off and I am gonna make them cry for their mothers. (you see, it’s just below the surface, I can’t help it) But only if they really piss me off. I can take it, I just don’t want anyone judging me for giving it back ten fold!
4. Do not be offended by other people posting on their pages that they think my teams suck. This may be the worst one of all. HARDEST TO KEEP!!
5. When you see the pathetic people posting about your teams lack of playing abilities during any particular game, do not retaliate by posting foul youtube songs on your page because you know it will piss them off beyond words. (I can see myself breaking this rule pretty quickly, since I invented passive aggressive football taunting.)
Twitter Rules:
1. Try to limit my ranting tweets, maybe five per game but do not @ anyone.
2. Do not tweet non-Cowboy and non-Raven players to tell them they suck. (this should keep my hate tweets to a minimum… maybe).
3. Do not reply to any hate tweets about the Cowboys or the Ravens.
So, Those are the rules I am going to try and follow this year. I am hoping that I can abide by my own rules, so we shall see. I want to wish you all a very great football season, and I you all enjoy the games this year, as long as you are not a Redskins fan. :)
